About This Event

Though rooted in necessity due to antisemitism, Jewish sororities provided a fun social outlet coupled with a sense of belonging. Join Robin Doroshow of the Jewish Historical Society of the Upper Midwest and Kate Dietrick of the Upper Midwest Jewish Archives at the University of Minnesota Libraries for a conversation about the need for – and the fun had by – Jewish sororities. Come learn about this history through stories and archives.

This free event will begin with a presentation followed by a Q&A session. Reception to follow. The talk starts at 6:00 pm in the 3M Auditorium. Registration is strongly recommended.

If you're unable to attend, the event is also accessible virtually via Zoom: https://mnhs-org.zoom.us/j/81748557832.
